WHAT: Koontz Lake Float-A-Rama

2:00 P.M. (CST) Float-A-Rama

Have you ever entered a boat in the Koonts Lake Float-A-Rama? Why not give it a try this year!! The success of this event depends on you, your family, friends and fellow Koontz Lake neighbors. Be creative and give it a whirl...what have you got to lose? The event is sponsored by the Koontz Lake Association and organized by Dawn Clayton with the help from family and volunteers.

The games begin at 10:00 A.M.(CST) with paddle boat and kayak races at Stanley's Marine. Paddle boats, kayaks and life jackets will be provided for the races. And for those that are to young to race, (6 years and under) there will be a Sand PileTreasure Hunt.

There is no charge to enter the races or games and winners receive prizes.

The Float-A-Rama will begin at 2:00 P.M.(CTS), starting at Stanley's Marina and will circle the whole lake beginning and ending at the marina. Categories will be Family, Patriotic, and Commercial/Organization.
